INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

Personally Identifiable Information

Personally Identifiable Information is information that identifies a specific user, such as your first and last name, home address (including zip code), email address, telephone number, and date of birth.  Personally Identifiable Information also includes credit card billing information that you may provide to Pegasus. When you engage on the Website, we may ask you to provide certain Personally Identifiable Information about yourself. Examples of activities in which we collect Personally Identifiable Information on the Website include but are not limited to (1) requesting newsletters or other Pegasus communications, (2) submitting information through our contact form.

Pegasus does not retain credit card information through this website.

You may also post certain public content, such as blog comments, to our Website. Any such content you post may be viewable by the general public and is governed by our Terms of Service.

We use Personally Identifiable Information to deliver services to you, and facilitate your experience with third-parties. If you use our Website to request that we send information to another person, we may store your Personally Identifiable Information, and the Personally Identifiable information of the recipient you specify, and we may use that recipient’s contact information to her/him/them to access the information specified in your request. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to troubleshoot, resolve disputes, accomplish administrative tasks, contact you, and comply with applicable laws.

If you send emails through this Site, we will use the personally identifiable information you submit in conjunction with such email as necessary to send the email.

We will use your Personally Identifiable Information to send you information concerning your request, including a confirmation email.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information & Use of Cookies

Non-Personally Identifiable Information is information that does not identify you. This type of information may include the type of browser you are using and your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. We may automatically collect this information when you visit our Website through the use of electronic tools like cookies and pixel tags.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser. Cookies automatically identify your browser to our Website whenever you visit and save your preferences and other information. By tracking how and when you use various features of our Website, cookies help us improve our Website. Accepting cookies allows you, among other things, to personalize your experience on our Website. You can generally opt-out of providing this information by turning cookies off in your browser. Some portions of our Website, however, may not function correctly if you have turned cookies off.

We may use other industry standard technologies like pixel tags to track your use of our Website pages and promotions, or we may allow our third-party service providers, such as NamasteLight Email Provider, to use these devices on our behalf.  Pixel tags are tiny graphic images placed on certain pages on our Website, or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed a specific action. When you access these pages or open or click an email, pixel tags generate a Non-Personally Identifiable notice of that action.

When you visit our site, our web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, including your IP address (which is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data). Your IP address does not identify you personally. We may collect IP addresses for purposes of system administration, to improve our Website, and to report aggregate information internally.

Information Provided Through Social Network Platforms

If you access our services on a “social network platform” (including, but not limited to, Facebook and LinkedIn), we will access and store the information explicitly allowed by the social network platform by their Terms of Service, once you give us permission to do so, through an interface provided by the social network platform. As we do not have control over the user interface provided by social network platforms, we do not take any responsibility for any changes or problems with the interface or exchange of information provided by any of these social network platforms.

Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information

We will disclose your personally identifiable information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation, or other government authority or to prevent harm to yourself, Pegasus, or others. In addition, we may transfer your personally identifiable information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which Pegasus participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of Pegasus’ assets.

Disclosure of Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We may disclose or share Non-Personally Identifiable Information with our partners, affiliates and advertisers.  For example, we may share aggregated demographic information (which does not include any Personally Identifiable Information) with “third-party advertisers” and other parties as provided herein.

We may use trusted third-party service providers to track and analyze Non-Personally Identifiable usage and volume statistical information from our users to administer our Website and constantly improve its quality. We may also publish this information for promotional purposes or as a representative audience for advertisers. Please note that this is not Personally Identifiable Information, only general summaries of the activities of our users.  Such data is collected on our behalf, and is owned and used by us.

PRIVACY PROTECTION

Our Security Procedures

Pegasus and/or its subcontractors institute various electronic and administrative safeguards that are reasonably designed to protect your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access, including firewall technologies to help protect your data from hackers and other unwanted visitors. We encrypt certain sensitive information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your Personally Identifiable Information is safe as it is transmitted to us. Despite the use of these safeguards, there are inherent risks in the transmission of electronic information. We cannot guarantee and do not represent that your personally identifiable information will always be secure from unauthorized access.

Your Control of Personally Identifiable Information

You may limit the collection and use of different elements of your Personally Identifiable Information by not participating in those activities for which we collect Personally Identifiable Information, as described above. You may choose to discontinue the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personally Identifiable Information by limiting or discontinuing your use of our Website.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from the Pegasus email list, you may do so by contacting us at info@pegasusrecoverysolutions.com with the subject heading “unsubscribe” or by clicking on the link provided in our emails.

You agree to maintain accurate contact information and to promptly update your Personally Identifiable Information if it changes. Because we keep track of past transactions, you cannot delete information associated with past submissions on the Website.

Privacy Protection for Children

In order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, Pegasus will not knowingly accept “personally identifiable information” from children under the age of thirteen (13) through the Site profile and registration procedures. Our refusal to accept this information does not preclude minors, however, from visiting and using certain features of the Site. No part of the Website is designed to attract anyone under the age of 13. Unless otherwise disclosed during collection, we do not knowingly provide any Personally Identifiable Information about minors, regardless of its source, to third parties, nor is this information knowingly used by us for any marketing or promotional purposes.  Minors are not permitted to participate in contests or campaigns on the Website or on our Social Media platforms.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

This Privacy Policy addresses only the use and disclosure of information that we collect. Other Websites, including advertisers, sponsors, Affiliates and Partners linked to from our Website, may have their own policies that are not addressed or controlled by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing personally identifiable information to third parties.

Pegasus is based in Victoria, BC, Canada and any information transmitted to us may be stored, accessed, or processed in Canada. Residents of some other countries, including residents of the European Union, should be aware that the laws Canada may not offer an equivalent level of protection as the laws of your home country.

Regardless of where that information is collected or transferred, it will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
